Cruise ships are according to existing regulations obligated to deliver all ships generated waste from last port of call. Ports are according to existing regulations obligated to receive all ships generated waste from last port of call. In the Baltics, all member states practice “No Special fee” which means that waste handling should be included in the port fee.

The cruise pier in Visby is fully in compliance with all existing environmental requirements.

CMP works closely with CLIA, ESPO and other ports in the Baltics to find as environmental friendly solutions and operations as possible in compliance or better than existing regulations.

CMP and Visby works closely with network as Cruise Baltic and Cruise Europe where environmental questions always are the most important topics – one example is waste water reception facilities.
